One of the last skydiving clubs in Canada run entirely by its volunteer members. Non-profit, member-run, and the closest dropzone to the GTA.
Who we are
A club, not a corporation.
Skydive SWOOP is one of the last remaining skydiving clubs in Canada run exclusively by its volunteer members. We've been open since 1979 and complete thousands of jumps every year, averaging over 3,000 skydives annually.
As a non-profit incorporation, the club is administered by an elected Board of Directors and many other volunteers who run the entire operation on their own free time. The board and volunteers don't make any money from the club — they're here because they love skydiving and want to share it with as many people as they can.
Because we're member-run, we're smaller and have a tighter sense of community than the larger commercial dropzones. That difference shows up in how you're treated from the moment you arrive.

The skyline
An awesome view of Hamilton and the Harbour, Lake Ontario, the Toronto skyline, and the CN Tower. On a clear day you can see across Lake Erie to Pennsylvania.

We run two aircraft to keep operations going under all conditions — meaning more loads and less waiting on busy days.

Student and tandem gear is updated every year to stay air-worthy and provide the maximum level of safety for everyone involved.

When we fly
Open weekends & more.
We're open every weekend, holidays, and Friday evenings through the season, plus mid-week by special appointment. The season runs roughly late April through late October.
